Here are the first four official entries for MMFF 2017
The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) committee just announced the first four of the eight entries that will join the festival this year. These films will debut on December 25. Here are the entries:
1. Ang Panday (CCM Productions, Inc.) - starring Coco Martin; directed by Rodel Nacianceno
2. Almost is Not Enough (Quantum Films & MJM Productions) - starring Jennylyn Mercado & Jerricho Rosales; directed by: Dan Villegas
3. The Revengers (Star Cinema & Viva Films) - starring Vice Ganda, Pia Wurtzbach, & Daniel Padilla; directed by Joyce A. Bernal
4. Love Traps #FamilyGoals (OctoArts Films) - starring Vic Sotto & Dawn Zulueta; directed by Antonio Y. Reyes
The criteria for choosing the entries were: artistic excellence (40%), commercial appeal (40%), promotion of Filipino cultural and historical value (10%) and, global appeal (10%).
The remaining four entries will be announced on November 17, 2017.
