The 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival  is nearing its end. But, the audience isn't UPDATE (1|09|16) - DAY 14 : After two weeks, MMFF 2015 has totaled up to PHP 1.02 billion. That's up from last year's PHP 985 million. Reports say that Beauty and the Bestie has taken the leas over My Bebe Love although the MMFF committee has yet to announce the rankings. If true, this continues the strong legs of Vice Ganda's movies throughout the festival. My Bebe Love didn't become the mega-hit that I predicted but it is still a great performance coming from an unexpected hit love team 'Aldub' & a comedic duo of Ai Ai Delas Alas and Vic Sotto UPDATE  (1|04|16) - DAY 9 : After 9 days, MMFF is now at PHP 834 million. It is up 6 percent from last year. According to  mykiru.ph , two films have already passed PHP 300 million. The top four still remains the same: My Bebe Love, Beauty and the Bestie, Walang Forever, & Haunted Mansion. Stay tuned for more updates!

The 8 Official Entries for the 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival The race continues at this year's Metro Manila Film Festival . UPDATE (1|03|16) - DAY 8: A lot of audiences return to cinemas on New Year Day. The 8th Day of the festival added an est. PHP 97 million bringing its total to PHP 737 million which is still up from last year and is on bound to beat the last year's 2 week total of PHP 1.01 billion. The top four films remains the same. UPDATE (1|02|16) - DAY 7 : One Week! Thursday showings added a low PHP 18 miilion. The total box office earnings of MMFF totaled up to PHP 640 million which is still up from last year while it may have a tough time beating last year's PHP 701 million 8-day total. Unsurprisingly, there are still no reports of gross per movie. Analysis: My Bebe Love: #Kilig Pa More brings back the tandem of Ai Ai Delas Alas and Vic Sotto which made Enteng ng Ina Mo the highest grossing movie of 2011 (though it was a crossover for two successful franchise). It will also be the first film of the 'Aldub' love team of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza. On one look at its poster, there's no doubt that it would be a hit. As we all know, all foreign movies will be removed from the theaters (So watch Star Wars: The Force Awakens immediately!) because it's time for the annual Metro Manila Film Festival . The Philippine cinema has grown to a height that we have never expected 10 years ago. MMFF is one proof. And this year won't be different - 8 movies will fight for the audiences who annually goes to theaters every Christmas. The top choices will be: My Bebe Love: Kilig Pa More! which stars the unexpected phenomenal 'Aldub' (Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza) tandem with Ai Ai Delas Alas and Vic Sotto & Beauty and the Bestie which stars phenomenal box office star Vice Ganda and Coco Martin.
