Meanwhile, Oscar's viewership fell into an 8-year low. The awards show was watched by 34.3 US million viewers and 10.4 rating in adults18-49. It was off from last year's 36.6 million viewers and 10.8 adults 18-49 rating but ABC notes that the show improved slightly with in adults 18-34 (9.4 vs. 9.3) and was up among male viewers, especially those under 35.
