MMFF 2015: 'My Bebe Love' earns PHP 157 million in 3 Days ; 'Beauty and the Bestie' at PHP 131 million - UPDATED

UPDATE (12|28|15): According to 24 Oras, My Bebe Love has already raked PHP 157 million in 3 Days. That's in line with last year's gross of The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin which reached PHP 200 million in 4 Days (Note: Christmas fell on Thursday last year).
UPDATE (12|27|15) First day receipts of MMFF 2015 amounted to PHP 150 million. That's up 2 percent from last year's PHP 147 million. GMA News reports that the initial first day gross of My Bebe Love: Kilig Pa More is PHP 60.46 million. Removing the 60 million of Bebe Love, the left gross receipts for the remaining 7 movies will be at 90 million. If we're going to use the percentage of the 7 movies according to the data given by SM Cinemas (est. 40 million), Beauty and the Bestie would take 65%, while All You Need is Pag-Ibig and Haunted Mansion would be both around 10%. Using this, Beauty and the Bestie could take the PHP 50-60 million of that 90 million while the two (Pag-Ibig and Mansion) could take 10 million each
UPDATE (12|2615): According to SpikeDaily, the opening gross of My Bebe Love: Kilig Pa More totaled up to PHP 60 million (33 million from Metro Manila & 27 million from Provinces, according to GMA News) while Beauty and the Bestie earned PHP 40 million. Bebe Love's opening number breaks last year's The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin PHP 53 million opening.Bestie's debut fell from Vice Ganda'sl last two entries (Benjamin's 53 million & Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy's 47 million) but it is still a strong start.
UPDATE (12|25|15):MMFF as of December 25, 5PM (SM Cinemas only): As expected, My Bebe Love tops MMFF 2015 first day. According to Philippine Star, the Aldub starrer earned a strong PHP 29.3 million. Beauty and the Bestie came in second place with PHP 26.3 million. In surprising turn of events, Haunted Mansion debuts in 3rd place with PHP 4.1 million while All You Need is Pag-Ibig opened in 4th place with a low PHP 3.6 million. In 5th place, Haunted Mansion earned a okay PHP 1.9 million while Walang Forever started its gross with PHP 1.6 million. In 7th place, Honor Thy Father grossed PHP 0.38 million and in last place, Nilalang opened with PHP 0.29 million.

Short Analysis: The first and second place (Bebe and Bestie) are accurately predicted. The biggest surprise is from 3rd place to 6th place.Breakout hit Haunted Mansion proves that it is a strong choice for moviegoers (the teen audience more likely) All You Need is Pag-Ibig didn't opened well as predicted (considering its huge cast). But this is only the first day. There are more things to happen. The awards night will be on Sunday and will likely help boost some of the entries.
UPDATE (12|25|15, 12:26PM): As expected, My Bebe Love and Beauty and the Bestie are battling for number one. According to Bebe Love's director Jose Javier Reyes, the movie has already banked PHP 1 million in its first hour (incomplete results). That's a strong start for the movie. A opening gross north of 40-45 million is likely. There are still no reports for Beauty and the Bestie. But the official confirmation will still be based from the data released by the MMFF.
SPECIAL UPDATE (12|25|15, 12:48 PM): Sources say that the teaser trailer of Darna is attached to Beauty and the Bestie and All You Need is Pag-Ibig.
