'Fantastic Beasts', 'The Unmarried Wife' continues the magic in their second weekend at the box office

Thanks to a lack of competition last weekend, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and The Unmarried Wife continued to rule the country before The Super Parental Guardians and Enteng Kaisote enters the marketplace.

WB's Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, a prequel spin-off to the Potter franchise, has collected PHP 231.17 million here in the country. The movie continued as the lead choice over audiences who can't and doesn't want to watch Unmarried Wife. The film also continued its run in IMAX theaters (Rogue One will replace in on December 16). With Guardians and Moana now in the marketplace, competition is now harder but PHP 260 million is still reachable within this point which is a huge success for this first installment.

Meanwhile, The Unmarried Wife continues to dominate as well. The adult drama starring Angelica Panganiban and Dingdong Dantes has already raked PHP 190 million in the country. Their previous starrer, One More Try, has grossed PHP 213 million (released on MMFF season) which seems likely for The Unmarried Wife as well.
