Vhong Navarro remains a draw with PHP 60M opening week gross for 'Woke Up Like This'

Although not as huge as Vice Ganda or Sarah Geronimo, it is a safe statement that Vhong Navarro is still a draw among moviegoers. Together with a mainstream-friendly concept, his new feature Woke Up Like This with Lovi Poe opened to a strong PHP 60 million on its first week.


It is also worth noting that the movie opened to PHP 5 million on its opening day which is lower than his recent lead feature Mang Kepweng Returns (est. PHP 10 million) but Woke Up legged out the whole week and managed to grow over the next few days which is a good sign for this.

A total around PHP 100 million seems likely for this movie which is a huge success for Regal Entertainment.
