'IT' rules the Philippines

Pennywise is back and Filipinos also joined the hype. After a record-breaking $123 million opening in the United States, it also debuted strong here in the country. It opened to PHP 50.18 million across 213 cinemas.

 Warner Bros. is comparing the opening with The Conjuring (PHP 39 million) and Lights Out (PHP 36 million) where both opened with lower numbers.
