Box Office: '13 Hours' debuts good; Gross update for 'Everything About Her'
The Michael Bay drama 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi opened good in the country. It has collected $ 250 k (est PHP 11.7 million). That was way higher than the openings of recent related pics Zero Dark Thirty (up 178%) and Argo (up 135%). In the United States, the film has already collected a decent $ 42.57 million in three weeks of release there.
Meanwhile, Star Cinema's Everything About Her starring Vilma Santos, Angel Locsion and Xian Lim has grossed
PHP 15 million on its first day. That's below Mrs. Vilma Santos' last drama movie In My Life (co-starring John Lloyd Cruz and Luis Manzano) which opened PHP 18 million but it is okay since that movie was met with huge buzz that time while Everything About Her hasn't really been a huge-talk in the town. Reviews have been okay, so that will help it play well this month considering the weak competition it will have.
